Visa Centers of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Ukraine
The official consular cooperation between Germany and Ukraine began in 1989 with the opening of the first consulate general in Kyiv. Three years later, in 1992, already in independent Ukraine, the first German Embassy started its work. Currently, four cities host German consulates: Kyiv, Odesa, Dnipro, and Lviv. The main embassy, of course, is located in Kyiv.
Visa services for Ukrainian citizens are provided by the Consular Department of the German Embassy in Ukraine.

Other Useful Information
Among the mandatory requirements for visiting Germany, travelers must have valid travel insurance. If you apply for a visa through a specialized agency, they will usually arrange insurance for you. However, if you are traveling independently and applying for a visa without professional assistance, make sure to purchase insurance in advance.
