<article>Salep tastes like liquid semolina pudding.Salep is an Eastern winter drink made from wild orchid root ground into &#8220;flour&#8221;, milk, and sugar. It&#8217;s a perfect option when you need to eat, drink, and warm up all at once.</p>

Also, since the times of sultans, this drink has been considered an excellent aphrodisiac, and modern research confirms these properties.</p>

<li>milk &#8211; 1 cup</li>
<li>ground cinnamon &#8211; ½ teaspoon</li>
<li>honey, sugar &#8211; to taste</li>

<li>Pour cold milk into a pot and add salep while constantly stirring.</li>
<li>Mix until smooth and heat until thickened, but do not boil.</li>
<li>Pour the prepared salep into a cup, sprinkle with cinnamon, and optionally add honey and sugar.</li>

<p>Salep is drunk hot. So you can serve it immediately.</p>

<p>Instant salep packets are sold in stores. They are inexpensive, but the percentage of orchid root content is minimal. Preparing salep from a packet is very simple: just pour boiling milk over the contents, add sugar and cinnamon to taste.</p>
